At this time of year, we tell the story of the exodus of descendants of Abraham (father of Muslims, Christians and Jews) from 400 years of slavery under the Pharaohs (Passover). Moses was brought up in the court of the Pharaoh. But when he went among his own people again, he was grieved to find how sadly they were oppressed. The life force that connects ALL of Creation connected with Moses through a burning bush and Moses, after seeing the sufferings of his people the descendants of Abraham, knew that he would deliver them. Moses commanded Pharaoh to let the people go. The Pharaoh refused. The life force that connects ALL of Existence brought the people out of Egypt. The descendants of Abraham were journeying to a land of freedom in Canaan. It was a journey of forty days but the descendants of Abraham wandered for forty years in the desert. After forty years, the descendants of Abraham were fighting amongst themselves, refusing to follow Moses and worshiping idols and material things at the base of Mt Sinai. To restore order, Moses ascended Mt Sinai to connect with the Spirit that connects ALL of Existence. Moses returned with ten commandments which he gave to the descendants of Abraham. At this point, the life force of creation, after Moses and all the generation that lived in Egypt died, let the descendants of Abraham enter Canaan with the Ten Commandments as their guide. And so it is my friend, the journey of the descendants of Abraham (the father of Muslims, Christians and Jews) and the journey of each of our lives. A journey for physical, emotional and spiritual salvation. The first commandment sets forth the connection and oneness of all of Creation in which we ALL find our connection with each other and the life force of Creation. It is in that knowledge, that a great healing of the soul happens and we find our spiritual ONENESS and SALVATION. ABRAHAMIC (SPIRITUAL) JUDAISM- ONE PEOPLE WORLD UNITED

Revelation

This week, we read the Old Testament (Torah) portion called Shemot (שמות) which means “names.” which is the beginning of the book of the Exodus. The first part lists the names the descendants of Abraham (the spiritual father of Christians, Muslims and Jews, who had came to Egypt. It then begins with the birth of Moses and goes to the revelation at “the burning bush”. At the “burning bush” Moses, by taking the time to observe, has the revelation that the Force of Creation is not extinguishable and exists for ALL of Creation, eternally. With this revelation, Moses has the strength to lead the descendant’s of Abraham from Egypt. Amen SPIRITUAL (ABRAHAMIC) JUDAISM- ONE PEOPLE WORLD UNITED

Moses and the Burning Bush

The Spirit of Creation appeared to Moses in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. Exodus 3:2 And that Spirit brought a consciousness to Moses that Moses was to go to Pharaoh such that Moses was to bring his people, the descendants of Abraham, the spiritual father of Christians, Muslims and Jews, out of Egypt. Exodus 3:10 And Moses thought “Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the descendants of Abraham out of Egypt”. Exodus 11 So you see our friends, even Moses, at the beginning of his journey, questioned his Spirit and its connection with the Spirit that connects ALL of Existence. But Moses, in finding his ONENESS with the Spirit of Creator, went on an incredible journey of the Spirit which led to Mt. Sinai and Creator. Science, in observing the physical world, is confirming the experience of Abraham that ALL things are connected through a FORCE of Existence. In Lucerne, Switzerland, they recently found what has been labeled the God molecule which in reality is evidence of the FORCE that connects our Existence. Our friends at Via Institute have, through Social Science, identified twenty four characteristics of Spirit ( Viacharacter.org ). We believe that through consciousness of that Spirit and the characteristics of the Spirit, you can live a life of joy, INNER PEACE and UNITY with others and the Great Force of Creation. The Holy Spirit is ONE with ALL. When we consciously connect with the Spirit of Creation and Creator and the attributes of the Spirit, the Journey of our Soul can be lived with awe and joy in Creation. AMEN

Elijah, the prophet reverred in Christianity, Islam and Judaism as the harbinger of Inner Salvation, lay down under the tree and fell asleep. Suddenly the Spirit moved him to “Wake up and eat.” He looked around and saw a loaf of bread and a jar of water near his head. He ate and drank, and lay down again. The Spirit returned and woke him up a second time, “Get up and eat, or the trip will be too much for you.” Elijah got up, ate and drank, and the food gave him enough strength to walk forty days to Mt. Sinai, the holy mountain. There he went into a cave to spend the night. The Spirit had moved Elijah to go back to Mt Sinai and bring back again the message that Moses had brought back of consciousness of the Divine to the people but that the people did not understand. The Spirit spoke to him “Go out and stand on top of the mountain,” Elijah went to the top of Mt Sinai and expected the Spirit to come in a furious wind that split the hills and shattered the rocks—but it was not in the wind. The wind stopped blowing, and then there was an earthquake—but the Spirit was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake there was a fire—but the Spirit was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the soft whisper of a voice. When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. An the Spirit spoke to him, and Elijah understood that Spirit can be heard in ALL things in a soft whisper within himself. And when Elijah returned from Mt Sinai he said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the connection and ONENESS with the Spirit that runs through ALL of Creation that was broken down.” (Book of Kings 1-19)
